Cancellation and Modification Policy

At SE-crete, we understand that unforeseen events are part of travel. To ensure fair management for both our clients and our team, we apply the following policy:

Cancellation by the client: You can cancel or modify your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the activity. For any cancellation made less than 48 hours before departure, or in case of no-show, the deposit paid will be retained (or 50% of the total amount will be charged).

Weather Conditions: For sea or quad bike excursions, if the local authorities or our guides deem the safety conditions unsuitable (strong winds, storms), the activity will either be postponed or fully refunded at no cost (except for credit card bookings due to the very high bank fees in Greece of 5% of the transaction amount).

Force Majeure: In case of a health problem or major emergency, please contact us as soon as possible with supporting documentation. to find an amicable solution.

For Professionals: As a licensed agency, we are required to carry professional liability insurance. In the event of an accident (especially while quad biking or boating), you and your loved ones are covered.

For Individuals: In case of an accident, personal insurance policies never cover illegal business activities. You could find yourself without any medical or financial assistance.

Safety and Rigorous Maintenance

For Professionals: Our vehicles (quad bikes, cars) and boats undergo strict and regular technical inspections mandated by Greek law.

For Individuals: There is no oversight of the equipment's maintenance condition. You risk a breakdown in the middle of the mountains or at sea.

Legal and Financial Protection

For Professionals: Your booking is protected by a contract and an official invoice. In the event of a dispute or cancellation, you have legal recourse.

For individual: You have no proof of payment. If the person doesn't show up on the scheduled day or disappears from social media, your money is permanently lost.

Expertise and Qualifications

For Professional: Our guides and skippers hold the necessary licenses and certifications to lead groups. They are trained in first aid and have extensive knowledge of the local weather.

For individual: Often simply amateurs without specific training in the risks associated with the sea or off-road driving.

for Professional: By booking through SE-crete, you support a company that pays its taxes in Greece and contributes to the sustainable development of the Ierapetra region.

For individual: Undeclared work weakens local infrastructure and offers no guarantee of long-term service.
