Today, you're boarding the boat of our captain, a local professional fisherman whose skin is tanned by the salt and years spent in the Libyan Sea.

Here, forget the fighting chairs and electric reels for "big game fishing." We're going back to basics, to the pure technique: traditional line fishing.

The captain cuts the engine. Silence falls, broken only by the gentle lapping of the water against the hull. He hands you a line, shows you how to "feel" the bottom, how to bait to entice the sea bream, scorpionfish, squid, or sea bass that inhabit our rocky shores.
